I have a file on my hard drive that I would like to use within Algor, however, when I double click on the file name to open it, Algor doesn't open. I just get the following error.
Please advise on a solution to this as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Hi Trevor,
What happens when you try to start Simulation Mechanical directly from the Windows "Start" button? If you get the same message, then I believe the problem is with the installation of the software, and the message is asking you to provide the installation file. It looks like the file was originally on your network, and either you cannot access the network, or the installation files were deleted. Regardless, you need the installation files.
If it is an installation problem, you probably can just do a "Repair" from the Control Panel > Programs and Features (or however you see the list of installed software on your version of Windows, along with the option to uninstall software).
If the software does run when you try to start it directly, does it open the file you double-clicked on? What is the file type (extension) of the file you double-clicked on?

Starting the application from the START button works without an issue. However then I have to use the OPEN command to open my file. It would be way more convenient if I could just double click on the files that I want to open in Windows Explorer.
