    Solver crashes during volume meshing

I have been trying to run a simulation for a while now, but even when I reduce the length scale dramatically, I get an error: "The analysis stopped because the solver quit unexpectedly".  It tells me to send the cfz file to support, but the file is 4 MB, which is too large to upload here.  the issue occurs regardless of the length scale used.

    Thanks for your help,

    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Do you have a current subs contract with us? If so, we could move to a case and share the cfz.

The first thing to try here is one of our example models, if this works at least we know the install is OK and the issue is just this one model.

Are you running locally? You do need to be.

Reducing the length scale is not really an ideal solution to meshing issues, increasing it is often a better idea, thus reducing the mesh count. Try looking at the surface meshing diagnostics too, anything there that could be fixed in CAD?
