When looking at manuel convergence, especially for natural convection where you can have fluctuations in pressure and flow, what is a good estimate for convergence for the energy balance. Should the energy balance be in agreement to within 1%, 5%, 10% of the heat load? Any guidelines for this would be helpful.

To be honest, I tend to look at the temperature convergence, when this is flat and the rest of the variables are sufficiently stable I would stop it. I would have thought that the energy balance should be within 10% or less also, it really depends on the mesh though.
