    Drag coefficient on naca 2415

    I am calculating lift and drag coefficient on naca 2415..

    the resulted lift coefficient is good but somehow the drag coefficient is not close to the experimental result

    can anyone help me

    i am simulating using :
    rng model, and advection 5, for 3232 iteration

    the resulted ift coefficient is 0,21 (0,20 for published experiment's result)

    the resulted drag coefficient is 0,014 (0,007 for published experiment's result)

    the model used in simulation is 2d model, and the equation used to calculating lift and drag coeff is

    F =0,5.p.v2.a

    a = (referenced area, for 2d model i am using the chord length as the referenced area which is 1 m)

    i have attached the attachment, please correct me if i am wrong

    achmad0170,

    You would need to attach the support .cfz share file for anyone to assist.

    Thanks,

    Royce
