Content Search is a technology preview (alpha) version of a web service that allows designers – architects, engineers, students – to search and find generic or manufacturer-specific building products or components and associated design content. This content could include 3D models, 2D drawings, specifications, and descriptions for that product or component. Currently, it is targeted at designers working in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry. We are considering extending the service to include content particularly useful for mechanical designers in the future.
This group has been created to discuss all aspects of Autodesk Content Search – including technical questions, feature requests, likes/dislikes. Discussion group members are encouraged to post questions and comments on Autodesk Content Search (http://cs.labs.autodesk.com) which is our alpha found on Autodesk Labs.
The Autodesk sponsored discussion groups are intended to be constructive, informative, and helpful for our customers and industry partners. Please refer to the Autodesk Discussion Group Questions & Answers, Etiquette Tips and Ground Rules at http://discussion.autodesk.com/ground.jspa. This discussion group will be moderated by Autodesk staff and monitored by various members of the Autodesk Content Search development and quality assurance teams.
