Hi All,
A lot of people hit the same wall when doing arch work...a big discrepancy between real world 'stuff' & digital 'stuff'.
I'm an architect & we hit that wall we produced a rendering of an office for a large client.
The rendering looked great...but they wanted to see what the ACTUAL 'Interface' carpet they wanted would look like. Sorry. No Can do! They are going to but $1.2 million of the stuff & the sales rep tell us 'Sorry'!
I went to the Interface regional director & I said...'Why don't you just have your line in digital form? (3DS, SketchUP etc)
Answer: They would if they could get a company that could do it. (No 'Brothers friend who is good with CAD'...real - reliable company)
That's what we now what to do.
We want to be the Architectural / CAD company that Manufactures can hire to get there goods online - in format & in 'Seek'....(No spaceship models)
Therefore - My question is...How does a third party provider enter content into Seek? Xml format? Etc.
(I hope the answer is not 'Sweets Only'!)
thanks
