    Content quality improvement

This is my first discussion group posting. wahoo wahoo.

I am a regular visitor of Seek. I am watching, browsing and checking out content in Seek web site for a while. Lately I am finding some good quality generic doors, windows and cabinet cases from Reed Construction. Interestingly I found an octagonal window too. These content work well in revit arch. But these are hard to find or search in Seek, I accidentally found these good content. Seek has both good and not so good content.

My question is: How can I find good quality content easily, instead of digging through bulk load of content ? Lately I found the tiny icon on the top that says high definition-design.... which helped a bit.

    Hi there,

Thanks for using Seek! Reed's content has been updated recently, I am glad you find them useful!

Yes, high-definition icon indicates that the product is well attributed and has relevant design files (often times including RFAs).

In search of "good" content, would it be helpful if you can see other Seek users' ratings and feedback on the design files?

    Thanks!

It would be nice to have a method for submitting content feedback directly to the content authors. Seek might also benefit from a rating or 'star' system. Such a system is deployed in the AUGI forums which make it very clear which threads are quite valuable.

A website was setup for the AIA LFRT BIM Implementers Reoundtable to review McGraw Hill Revit content. Each family has a feedback link.

Might be worth checking out... Edited by: james.vandezande@som.com on Oct 24, 2008 12:28 AM
