Just after clicking the open icon in the Section Properties dialog box, I get an unhandled exception. I have the latest service pack and hot fixes as referenced in another post. HEre is the error info:

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

Try to delete files from Windows TEMP dialog and rename your CfgUsr folder.

when you say "temp dialog" do you mean here for windows 7?:

C:\Windows\Temp

or here?:

C:\Users\mbrule\AppData\Local\Temp

In case this doesn't help make screen capture and indicate the icon you press as well as include the viewer opened when you use Help > Robot information commands being in any model with the structure in Robot.

I tried your suggestion but got the same exact error. I get it when clicking open in the Sections dialog box (the dialog you get when clicking the icon that looks like a red capital letter i). Curiously, I got a popup about an available autodesk update so I click it and it began downloading service pack 5. I was puzzled because I made sure when I created the deploy for this that the latest updates would be included in the deploy. However, there is a download button under the service pack 5 to include and it began showing a green progress bar while it downloads. I thought it would have done this in thd background as it creates the deploy but maybe not. It's possible then that the end user having this issue also doesn't have SP5 for RSA 2012 so I will allow this to fully download and test again on my test box. If it corrects the issue, then chalk it up to lack of an important update. I'll keep you posted.

the image is a bit too small to see details but installing SP5 resolved that error. i am waiting for the end user who has this problem to try it and get back to me.

Yup, that's the button generating the error. So far so good after installing SP 5 but I am still waiting to hear back from the end user that it is actually working for him now.
