Dear all, I would like to ask you how it is possible to select all the bars having the same section.
I have the problem of assigning the member type to the elements, in order to perform the calculations in the design modules.
I thought the easiest way to assign the correct member type (column, beam, etc...) would be on the basis of their section. For example, if I am able to select all the bars that has a given section, I can assign to all of them a given member type.
To my knowlege, the only other way is to assign the member type one by one ,using indexes?
I hope you could give me a suggestion.
