Is possible open files .dat in Robot? How to do it?

Which software produces dat file? Is it a text file or binary file?

The software is Framework. Is a text file.

The person who send the file say "Normally we export the files as a dat file which includes additional to
the graphic all profile informations and can be imported in many detail
engineering programs."

You can write converter using Robot API to open it.
