Hi there,
I am trying to obtain failure load of thin-walled channel sections in pure bending. I have modelled the geometry (shell), load and boundary conditions but I am not quite sure how to interpret my results from non-linear analysis. How do I find maximum bending moment resisted by the member?
How do I find elastic critical buckling stress for different buckling modes?
Can I model material stress-strain curve and use it in my shell model?
Is it possible to capture post buckling behaviour of the member?
Thank you in advance,
Andrzej
