Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis

I created a structural model in Revit Structure (2012) and exported it to Robot (2012).  The model consists of RC beams, RC columns, and slabs (see attachment).  When generating the computational model automatically in Robot using the defaults, there is an excessive discretization close to the beam system.  How can I control how the beams are discretized to generate the final mesh?  Thank you.
