Fire protection - steel design

Hi

 

I am wondering if someone could illustrate how to calculate necessary thickness of a given material for fire design.

Also, I am curios to know what the following means;

I am wondering if someone could illustrate how to calculate necessary thickness of a given material for fire design.

 

You make the assumption and run verification against defined fire type combinations. If the ratio is above 1 then you increase the thickness of the protection and check again.

 

Also, I am curios to know what the following means;

7 is the number of  the bar from a model.

1) how can I see this form ( your image ) in my Design procedure ?

 

2) how can I investigate Fire Resistance in my Project ?

 

3) Is it possible to control for structue whole fire resistance?
