Hi rafal, it seems that these two APIs doesn't work. I have tried two merge 4 bars forming a cross (4 in one selection, 2 and 2, 1 only) but doesn't change anything, did I miss something?

First API does not recognize the selection

Second says merging finished but no change ...

Thanks.

Yes, it should work.
Please unregister all Robots you have on your comp (example how to do it in link below .../unregserver), register 2013 (.../regserver). IMPORTANT: Command Line must be started in Administrator mode.
You do not need to register rcom.dll

Does it work with RObot 2016? I get the message: "error-Robot not started".

Yes it works.

It seems you have more than one robot on computer so you need to register the correct one.

Check this thread, especially post 11

Nicely running

Excellent, thank you. But the processing very slow?! More than 1 hour with two story 600m2 steel structure. It is possible facilitating the processing.Robot ST.png

Hello,

I have downloaded both merge addins but unfortunately they aren't working for me.

The merging multiple bars gives me a response stating that it has merged the bars in question but doesn't actually do that.

Merging bars addin states merge is 'not possible to merge bars because release defined at node XXX'

Would appreciate your help in solving this. Thank you.

File attached. Looking at roof merging beams clashing horizontal bracing.

Hi @eoin.duggan

'not possible to merge bars because release defined at node XXX'

Please take look at post 6 in this thread.

In such case you need to delete releases on some bars.
