I have faded out an element in the 3D-view. How can I fade it in again? It is a ceiling which I can see in the ground-view, but not in the 3D-view.

When you say "faded out", do you mean hidden?

On the View Control Bar (at the bottom of your drawing window) there is a lightbulb icon for "Reveal Hidden Elements".

Press that, and all hidden elements will be displayed in a magenta color.  Select the hidden element, right click, and choose "Unhide in view".
