Does anyone knows if there is future in Revit_S as far as steel design is concerned? When someone will be able to draw steel connections in revit easily and full parametric?

Created a bunch of adjustable connection in RS2( clip angles, momment conn,
base plates, wing plates, thru column plates). Then with the API and Visual
Studio.Net 2003 created routines that would adjust everything to member
sizes. Then heard rumor that Autodesk was working on steel connection so I
figured why waste my time. API doesn't work with RS8 and just haven't
gotten around to upgrading it.
Perhaps Joe Charpentier could shed some light on Autodesk plans or rumors
he's heard.

Dear Moog,
Right now we don't necessarily focus on connection modeling, but using families you can definitely do it. we actually ship some of them in the box
are you working for a design firm or a detailer/fabricator ?
Thanks
