I am currently using Revit MEP2013 I have an electrical file where I would like to load a structural family to show some L-Angle for support, however I cannot find out where to load this family to make it accessable in MEP?

I don't think that you can use structural families very well in MEP. There may be a thread or two somewhere in this forum that reference this issue, but I think you may have to change it to the Generic Model Category prior to loading it in.
