Is there a way to select a group of items in a view by comments or type mark? Thanks!

Well, you can use a Schedule to select all elements based on the Comments value but you cannot, however, then narrow it down to the elements that appear in a specific View. You can create a View Filter to hide all of the other elements in that View, i.e. "Comments" does not equal [Value]. That way, it a matter of hitting V/G and unchecking the box to isolate those elements.
That's the best method I can think of at the moment, unless these elements also belong to a separate Workset.
