What would one use to create a valve family. I don't see an pipe fitting template like the ones for ducts. Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thank you.

Start with the Generic Model.rft. In the settings menu, click Family Category and Parameters.
Set the Category to Pipe Accessory, and try the following Parameters:
Work Plane-Based = unchecked
Always Vertical = checked
Behavior Type = Break Into
Part Type = Valve
Shared = unchecked
