    MEP electrical home runs

In Revit MEP 2013 I have an issue with the home runs from circuts. When I have it connect to the panel for the home run it draws the home run about 3/4 of the way to the panel(picture attachedcircled in red). Is there any way to have it default to closer like the home run circled in blue?

    Thanks.

Nope. You can't change the way Revit wants to do these things. You can either modify that homerun or delete it and draw your own.

    Hi,

I found this video where the home run that he puts in automatically doesn't go very far, how does this happen?Every time I do something similar it moves it like three quarters of the way to the panel. Here is the link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNLrbmRkdLM&feature=player_detailpage#t=149s

He never zooms out far enough to know where the panel is. I would guess it's just out of view, and since it's so close, that's why his home run arrow remains short like it does.
