I am trying to create a long radius elbow fitting. If anyone has any insight on this it would be appreciated. I created one, but keep getting errors which means I am not doing something right.

Are you looking for a pipe or duct elbow? How long of a radius do you want?

I am looking for a pipe elbow with a 12" radius. If it could have insulation capability in it like the ones that come with the package that would be great.

Hey Raf -

So do you want the raduis to be 12" no matter what the size is? In most
cases (at least the OOTB) content is configured to adjust the raduis
depending on the size of the fitting, and is generally some multiplier of
the "pipe size". It should be fairly easy to describe how to modify one of
the "standard" fittings to become a "long radius" fitting, but I want to
make sure that I understand your problem before I tell you how to do it
incorrectly.

If you want to experiment a bit, you might look at the Rectangular Duct
Radius Elbow, which supports multiple radii, and includes linining and
insulation.

At this point I am working with only 4 small pipe sizes and the radius is always 12". I was playing around with the duct elbow and was having trouble making it work. I will give it one more go to try to create an elbow that can have a variable radius. Thanks for your help. If you have anything that has a 12" radius available it would be appreciated.

Assuming the forum will accept it there is a zip file attached that "should"
have a constant radius of 12". I did some extremely limited testing with
this elbow and it seemed to be holding together fairly well, but use at your
own risk.

Jason, do you know where I can find a set of long radius elbows that change radius based on nominal pipe size.
