I am trying to import architectual and structural from an AutoCad 3D file I created a family [mass] inserted the cad file but when I import the file into the project I recieve an error that reads "This family insance has too many edges. Remove unnecessary geometry or split the instance into multiple instances" Is there any way around this It will not let me import the family with this error. Thanks..

Instead of using the mass family, have you tried the generic model family template?
