    Exploding Imported Cad

Previously I've been able to explode imported cad items.  Now when I try to explode some cad dwg's I've been getting a message.  Attached is the message below.  I was able to do the AECTOACAD-command on some of the dwgs and it exploded fine, doesn't seem to be working now.  Any ideas?

It's diffcult to tell without seeing the AutoCAD content you are exploding.

Just a thought - why do you want to import and explode AutoCAD based objects? That's one way to quickly kill your model. Can you not live with CAD into families and then replicate using native Revit elements?
