Does anyone know whether or not Revit MEP comes with access panels/doors that you can attach directly to rectangular or circular duct as you would in cadduct, or of any families of access doors that are available from manufacturer? In creating a face based rectangular door it only seems to snap to the outside of the duct and not to the undersides, whether in plan or in an elevation/section view.
Accesss doors from ruskin off seek do not attach to the underside of my duct?
Any help appreciated.

If the family you are trying to use is truly face-based, it should snap to any side of the duct. Make sure you change the placement setting from Place on Vertical Face to Place on Face. That might be why you are having an issue. Probably easiest to place it to the underside of the duct in a 3D view and then adjust the actual location in plan view.
