Does anyone know why every once in a while my ribbon disappears & I cannot change commands? This only happens once in a while & when I restart it is fine. Does REVIT get tired & need a rest....

I've never heard of that particular issue.

I have had a user lose some of is tools in the ribbon, but not all.

Do you have the latest updates?

if so, I would suggest a repair on the installation.

Thank you for responding. No we do not have any updates but I will have my Tech guy get them.

Are you using dual or multiple screens ?

If yes, you can try to change the resolution of both screen and reverse it (1 to 2 and 2 to 1) and check if that behavior is still happening. You can also unplug on screen and let only one to see.

You can also check the version of your Microsoft .NET Framework components. You shoud have the "4 Client Profile" and the "4 Extended" installed on your machine.
