does anyone know of a way to make my custom families show as 'realistic' the same as duct and pipe when they are inserted into a project and setting 'realistic' is selected. They still show as single line objects.
Thanks

The first question is 'What Category is your family?' If it's a Generic Model, then it would be shown as you describe if the View's Discipline is set to anything other than Architectural or Coordination. Generic Models is considered an Architectural Category.

Thanks. Yes, the families are generic models and now display as intended when set to correct discipline.
This forum is essential if people are going to get good implementations of this software up and running.
Thanks again
