Accidental Upgrade to 2013 - Can I Get Back to 2012?

I have made a rookie error. When i recieved a revit file from an architect made in revit 2012 i must have opened it in 2013 and saved by accident. I have done a fair bit of work on it since and have just recieved the latest architects revit file again in 2012 resulting in me noticing my error. I know you can open a 2013 revit file in 2012 but is there any way to copy the servies that i have drawn from the 2013 model into the 2012 model. If so can someone please explain to me how. i dont really want to be working on this all weekend re-drawing it all however i think thats what i might have to do.

Revit is a one-way street in terms of compatibility, and I don't believe that there is any real way to recover this work. Aside from convincing the architect to upgrade to 2013, of course.
