    the ability to use IES files is only candy if you can't generate useful analysis of what they're doing, and rendering is again, pretty, but not fully useful

    agreed, adding photometry to the family is great, but it would be nice if it was more useful! point by point calcs and iso lines would help!

    I just want to put multiple light sources in one family... I tried copying the light source to create 3 individual lamps for my 3-lamp vanity fixture, no copying light sources. I tried nesting a small lamp with one light source, The original light source won't delete, and the 3 nested lamp's light source goes off at a silly angle, and doesn't render anyway. I don't see any reason for all this fussiness in the family editor.
