SET OUT OF 3 PILE CAP IN REVIT IS INCORRECT

REVIT does not set out a 3 pile pile cap correctly to industry standards. For the single pile at the top of the pile cap REVIT takes the horizontal dimension between the two bottom piles and uses it as a vertical set out dimension for the single pile, when in actual fact the dimension should be an angled dimension.

    Can this be resolved ??

I am having the same problem. I am new to Revit and would like to adjust the supplied 3 pile cap family so that the piles are on an equalateral triangle, however, I can't remove the link between the horizontal & vertical dimension. If I change the vertical pile spacing, the horizontal spacing changes also. This is a basic requirement. 3 pile caps should form an equalateral triangle. Has anyone managed to create their own family file for a 3 pile cap?
