Is there a way to fit view in Revit by double-clicking the middle button like the way in ACAD? Thanks for any reply.

He is talking about something else.
When you select an object in a 3d view for example... you can click on one of the viewcube's corners. By default it will "Fit to view (on view change)" (there is a setting on the viewcube) on THAT particular object.
The question is ... and my request also... is this behavior shortcut-able to the keyboard or mouse.
When i work in 3d view i want to select an object, click the mouse or keyboard and have the view fit (zoom and pan automatically) to that object... so i can the orbit around it.

Apparently there is a "Zoom to awesome" addin that uses the API to do that but only in plan view not 3d camera perspective views like you can do with the viewcube.
