i made a project in revit and i made it into the wrong project template. i needed it to be in the architectural template. since i had not done that i do not have my elevation views. is there any way that i can add that in after the fact or some how get the views in the already made project? or do i need to start over?

Use View > Elevation > place the elevation symbol. That will start the "Elevations" folder of the project browser.
