"Unrecoverable Error" when opening files in Revit 2011

Been using Revit 2011 for a couple of years and never had any problems until recently.  I attempted to load a component file and got an Unrecoverable Error and Revit shut down.  Now, it appears that any attempt to load or open a file from inside Revit results in this same problem.  I have read multiple posts and solutions and wiped/reinstalled the program.  Nothing has worked.  I'm running it on XP.  If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate some help.

Hello and Welcome to the discussion!

Have you tried doing an Audit on the file as you open it?

You can't think AutoCAD and run Revit.
