I am attempting to add a schedual of the fire/smoke alarms in a drawing. It has been fairly straightforward with everything else; create schedual, selct catagory, and said items apear in the schedual. however, when selecting a catagory in creating a new schedual, there is no "Generic Models" option, which my smoke alarms are located in. Any remedies?
Thanks in advance,
Brent

Change the category of the familiy to something that can be scheduled, such as Specialty Equipment, Mechanical Equipment, Electrical Fixture, etc. Generic models appear only in take-off schedules, not in regular schedules.

Open the Family, then under Properties, at the top left of the ribbon, Family Type and Parameters,
change the Type.
