The problem with the print with raster processing workaround is that it creates huge DWF files...ginormous even.  I am dissapointed that the update didn't address this issue.

We are experiencing this issue in our office. Is a solution for vector printing available yet? Printing using raster processing is not a real solution for our office because of the poor drawing quality and larger PDF file size.

This problem extends to DWG export as well. Unfortunately I can't use the "Raster print" work-around for exporting to DWG. Any suggestions for exporting to CAD?

The possible work-around is to set disipline to structural in the plan views. but it won't work if you are not seeking exporting structural plans. it seems autodesk is too busy to fix this 'small' problem.

As it happens, I'm already working with structural plans and I'm still having the issue. All the plans are set to Structural discipline. I have the floors set to 100% transparent and the structural framing that's partially, or completely under the floors is not shown in the PDF and not exported to DWG.

If the structural framing is setup as an underlay in the view, try changing the view discipline to something other than Structural.

The only way to get the transparency to print is to export it as an image. Then i just convert the image to a pdf.

Any update on a solution or a software fix? We are still having the same problem and are unable to use Revit 2013.

Did a couple of quick tests, it worked. so reckon case can be closed here.

I am having an issue I just noticed and wonder what I am missing.  It seems this should be working.  One attachment is a screen pic of my compiled view on the sheet itself.  The other is a pdf print of same sheet.  You will note that in the printed pdf does not show what the screen pic does.  Why?  Any input help appreciated.  This seems like this is what the initial post was about, yes?
