Here we have created a simple mass (image 1) and made walls from the faces (image2). After joining the faces and giving a "wrap around both" material, the brick metrial is not continuous. There is a band of different material seen.
How can we get the brick to run with no band inbetween.

Well I guess you are talking about the way two walls intersect, or join.
The first thing I would do is hit the "Edit Wall Joins" tool.

Edit Wall Join won't work for these slanted joints. The "wrap" setting of the wall type won't help for these joints either. Simply make all the walls with Location line = Finish face: Exterior.
