I am working with revit for a long time and recently an issue appeared. I was working with mass, then attached walls by face, divided mass into floors, made them. In a section view my wall is with angle to background. I want to connect wall to floor so that none of the floor would be visible outside. I add an image. I was trying to work with cut profile, but it doesn't eliminate all of the problem. I use revit 2012.

Could you be more specific? i didn't find and don't know how to do it.

Extrude the floor off of a work plane. Select floor category for it.

As i understand, you made section profile of the floor and horizontally extruded. At this point i can not make vertical shafts, is it because you have to vertically extrude floors?; also i can not edit structure of the floor, am i supposed to drow it with region?

That's an elevation view of the floor and walls. To make an in-place

floor, draw a reference plane in a level view and give it a name in its

properties. Then go to an elevation view that would be perpendicular

to that plane. Then hit your model in-place command and the first thing

it wants to know is what is this thing you want to build, (category), select

floors. Then hit the extrusion button and it will ask you to select that 

plane you just made so it knows what to extrude from. After you finish

this floor you can pull it into different lengths with the grips.

BTW you can't manipulate system floors in strange ways, so you have

to delete them and build in-place floors.

And if you want to make floors that are twisted in really strange shapes,

you will need to learn more about in-place families. In that case it might

be easier to start them in the mass editor.

Still I don't understand if in place floors can be structurally edited - different layers added? And is in place floor being cut with shaft function? The questions are because I didn't manage to to it and I am wondering if it's not possible o I did not find how to.

You can't edit assembly layers for floors
like you can with walls, unless there is
something in the new Revit I haven't seen
yet. But we are not talking about system
floors anyway, we are making fully custom
in-place floors. That means we make every
part of that floor manually. See the image.

Well still the same problems. Should I make a shaft through the modeled floors manually one by one? Also how did you managed to get few layers for the floor? Did you draw several floors in order to get the result?

Each part of the floor is a separate in-place family.

As they would be in reality.

Yes every part is created separately.
