    True radius curtain wall

Is is possible for REVIT to create a true radius curtain wall? When I create a curved curtain wall it ends up being a segmented curtain wall instead.

Using the curtainwall tool, this is not possible.

You could model a family with a true radius.

    FWIW
I must ask, does the client really want to pay for bent glass?
That is VERY expensive. Which is why most curved curtainwalls are segmented.

    cheers......

Thanks for the advice.....and yes, the client...."thinks" they want radius glass. I asked what happens when after installed, on say the 10th floor...a lite of glass is broken???? Mine is not to reason why...

Wait until your clients see the first estimates for the curtain wall with bent glass. They are going to like the segmented curtain wall a lot more than now.

We have some Chinese clients with deep pockets who want curved glass and mullions, unfortunatly I can't figure it out in Revit.  Seems like all the posts about curved glass give your response about cost and no solutions.  If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Actually, this is possible, especially if the curve is one direction only, like in a cylinder or similar. You need to create a curved panel, with a parameter that controls a point, which controls the curvature of the panel.  You need to make some calculations to relate this parameter with the radius of the curtain wall.
