    Teaching Revit Architecture

I recently graduated from college, and I have been looking for a job. The only offer I have had so far is to teach a local architect Revit Architecture along with putting some of his completed work into a Revit file. He is a great guy and likes to do things by the book. He asked me to do some research about a few topics and the ask Autodesk some questions. However, you can not simply email Autodesk from what I have found.

Anyways the questions I have are pretty simple. 1) Would I, or my potential boss, be able to download an educational version of Revit Architecture to use at his office strictly for educational and informative purposes (me teaching him)?

And, 2) If we can download a student version, would it be ok for us to 'transfer' his previously completed projects into a Revit project?

    Thank you in advanced!

You wont be able to use a student version to teach your boss.  Since you are now getting paid to teach someone Revit, you must use the commercial version..  You can, however, download ansd use the 30-day trial of Revit to teach him from.  30 days should be ample time to give him a good understanding of Revit, and at the end of 30 days, he should be ready to purchase a copy to use on projects.

You can use the 30 day trial as a fully functioning version, which also allows you to show/help him get his previous projects into Revit.
