When I create a run of stairs, Revit places an "Up" or "Dn" tag at the end of the run. Is it possible to turn this off, or change what it says etc...

With 6.0 and up you have greater control of those.

You can turn them off individually by stair style (affects all instances of the stair style, all views)

or just by view via visibility/graphics for Stairs (the sub categories) affects all stairs in the view. (only option before 6.0)
