Selective section colour

I want my full height walls to show as black fill while low height walls as white fill. On changing the view properties and editing the fill, all my wall fill with black. What should I do?

That sounds like a cut plane height issue.  If the lower walls are being cut by the cut plane they are goiong to show the same as the full height walls.  You may want to look at adjusting the view range of the view to get the walls to display as you expect.
