Useful Addin but why does it not update the room from/room to name/number fields when a door is flipped from one room to another?
Try this example:
1. create a few rooms in a plan view and add room elements with room tags
2. Add some doors to the rooms and place tags on placement to get some door numbers
3. Create a door schedule and add the room names and numbers, and door marks (numbers) add the colums room from (name/number) and Room To (name/number) to the schedule.
4. initially everything looks fine, the door swing graphic matches the schedule door from/to schedule settings
5. select a door and flip it so it swings the other way between the rooms
6. check the schedule and you will see the records for room from/to have remaind the same as before the flip operation
is this worked as designed? or can this be fixed so that the schedule updates correctly when the door is flipped?
I thought Revit was supposed to be bi-directionally parametric.
Whilst I'm on: please get revisioning to handle alpha numeric revision codes instead of just alpha OR numeric. This has got to be a simple fix? Then revit can be compliant with BS1192:2007 and we can start doing level 2 BIM.
Oh and another thing: Can we have a country code setting that changes Omniclss parameters to Uniclass 2, it would be nice to internationalise Revit to cater for different classification systems around the world.
