Rivet License Monitor error

Had to replace an existing Rivet license monitor with a new computer due to hard drive failure. Now, after successfully licensing the new installation, existing installed Rivet's can not license the app. Attempt to license to the new license computer returns this error message which, of course, does not appear in the knowledge base.
"The AutoDesk Rivet License Monitor on host "57B-CC15-8515" is unable to fulfill licensing request. An error status of -12 has been returned.""
Ideas?

Make sure to have the latest FlexLM.. Check if you've given the right
servername/macaddress when licensing, any mistypings? [see top of
licensefile, open in wordpad].. Any network restrictions? User restrictions
for any Registrykeys? You might check the error status -12 at
Macrovision.com

Which version of Revit is this? And is it Revit, or Revit series?
