    Autodesk Discussion Groups guys

We have installed AutoDesk Revit Server 2013 in Central Server(Windows 2008 R2 Standard) and the  Local Server (Windows 2008 R2 Standard) .

How to configure Central Server and Local Server for use with multiple offices over a WAN?

Please infom me Which is the Environment Varible value of following 3

    1.Central Server

    2.Local Server

    3.Host

I know that environment variable is RSROLE2013 . Which is the value ? Is it Host,Accelerator,Admin for Central Server Environment Varible value.

Our issue is revit model not synchronizing to Central Server.

Its only Synchronizing from Host to Local Server.

How do we resolve this issue?

    Thanks

The following help topic also has information on values to be used with the RSROLE2013 environmental variable:

    Revit Server Installation Overview

Note: The 2012 version of Revit Server used the terms Central and Local server. These terms are no longer used with the 2013 version.

The following help topics have troubleshooting information for Revit Server:

To simplify troubleshooting, I would start by ensuring that users on the same LAN as the host server can synchronize. If this works, then move on to check if users from a remote location can synchronize directly with the central server (without using an accelerator). If this works, then move on to connecting through the accelerator.
