Revit Server question?

When sending consultants models we typically sent the file located right on our server. With Revit Server users can't get to the Revit Server as a drive letter map (that I am aware of). How would we continue to send Central models to our consultants?
Thanks for the help.

You need to Save -as and Detach from Central, and rmove any Linked files.
Then post the Revit model(s) to the FTP site. ( and have the engineers do the same when posting. )

We've been successfully using the Revit Server Command-Line Utility to cut a local file, and use that to send. This way, if you have multiple models, it can run unattended. It still takes time to convert the server-based worksharing files to a single RVT, but is mush less stressful.
