we currently have 46 machines running the new revit 2012 architecture, but have run into a huge problem.
When ever a global user tries to see 3d drawings you get the "an error has occurred while drawing the contents of this window. this window shall be closed"
we can get around that problem with disabling hardware acceleration but that aint really a solution since the program almost grinds to a halt cause of software render.
The funny thing is that when i sign in with a local user, domain admin or another domain user with a local profile
i can use 3d hardware acceleration without receiving the error.
The machine is way over the recommended hardware requirements, and the gfx is also certified for revit.
I have tried different driver versions to no avail.
like i said it works on the same machines when im not using a global user.
the computer specs are:
Hp Z210 Workstation
Intel i7 3.4/8ghz sandybridge
16gb ram
nvidia quadro 4000 2gb ram
so as you can see the machine is certified for autodesk right down to the core, so that aint a problem.
