The error is hard to reproduce (there are no exact steps), I've noticed that it happens, while Orbiting or Panning in edit mode (Curtain Wall or Mass Edit). Attached is the error messages, after that I get "fatal error" message and it tells, that the application will be terminated.

someone else experienced this strange behaviour, where drawing plane turns to
black and you get unhandled exception. The error is hard to reproduce (there
are no exact steps), I've noticed that it happens, while Orbiting or Panning
in edit mode (Curtain Wall or Mass Edit). Attached is the error messages,
after that I get "fatal error" message and it tells, that the application will

Were you able to resolve that problem on Revit Architecture 2010 with what the other suggested? I'm having the same exact problems on mine ever since I downloaded and activated it last month, and I need help with this too. Thank you.

I had a similar issue - I ran Revit 2010 as administrator - all my issues went away.
Hope this helps someone.
