I have been trying to create a stair case but i can not get the top of the stairs to line up correctly. When i do gent one platform to line up the riser sticks up above it. If you know how to remove this riser plaes let me know

Check the stair's type properties. There is a setting for "End with riser" which can be on or off.

Is it possible for you to navigate me to the stairs type settings

Stairs > Stairs by sketch > Type properties > Risers > Begin with riser or End with riser

Not available if you use Stairs > Stair by component
