This message indicates that you do not have the correct update for your installed version of Revit. There are two items that will determine which update is required for your installation. The first is whether or not you have the 64-bit or 32-bit version of Revit. Next, you have to download the correct update for your installed version of Revit. Here is a list of the different Revit versions, each of which has updates specific to them:
Autodesk Revit
Autodesk Revit Architecture
Autodesk Revit MEP
Autodesk Revit Structure
Once you get the correct version of the update, you should be able to install it without problems.
