I need a dashed line with thickness to indicate fire classification, the problem is that every dash gets rounded end caps. I want every dash to have straight end caps. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Yes. And a very good one. Use the repeating detail feature. With this you
can make lines of just about any type that you can imagine.
