    Printing to Scale

When I print in revit - at scale - 100% Zoom, I check it with an architecture scale and its off. For example, 25' - 0" in the revit file measured with a scale on paper is 23 ' 10". etc... Has anyone had these issues before? Is it a revit issue, or a printer driver issue?

    Thanks

You are certain that you are printing with the setting for "Zoom 100%"?
Most people that have this issue are actaully using the "Fit to Page"
option, which causes the print driver to shink the drawing to fit on the
page within the margin limits of the printer. Since all titleblocks have a
line defining the edge of them that in theory is the edge of the paper, the
print driver will scale this smaller to fit this "border" line on the sheet
without cutting it off. Most large format printer cannot print "full bleed"
which means to print to the very edge of the paper.

Yep, when I print at Zoom 100% the scale is off. We verified it several times, because we didn't believe it ourselves.

Scott, why doesn't the Zoom textbox and spinbutton get grayed out when "Fit to Page" is checked? This has been a source of confusion for several of my coworkers and students.

I have also experience a similar phenoma. I discovered that mu HP Designjet printer/plotter properties were not set to Plot 100% even though my Revit plotting properties were. So I changed both to 100% and now everything plots lovelerly.

I'm having the same problem printing to 100% or 50% specially in long dimensions, like 24000 apears correct in the screen and when I print and check with my scale it is 24200. I'm wondering if anyone has the solution. When I print to scale the dimmension measured with the scale becomes 100 closer but still wrong.

I have the same issue.  Has anyone found a solution for this, or does Revit not "worry" about printed scale?
